Started by Satbir and Yasmin Golar, Paddington Dental Practice has been helping NHS and private patients for over 20 years. Based in the centre of Paddington, they’ve helped thousands of people with dental care and built a thriving business too. But they champion Crispcap as a major contribution to their success.

How Did Paddington Dental Start?

Satbir and Yasmin started the company in 1993 in what Satbir describes as a more “free-flowing economy” than we have today. They purchased a one-man practice and have seen incredible growth since, adding more surgeries, and practitioners, and growing their staff to over 11 members. Taking on NHS and private patients has been the bread and butter of their business as they balance consistent referrals from doctors with more specialised requests from people.

But like any successful business, their growth didn’t come without challenges, particularly when it came to their cash flow.

What Challenges Did They Face?

Whilst there are always difficulties in getting a business started, Satbir and Yasmin determined work ethic and loyal customers allowed Paddington to flourish quickly. Cash flow issues only started to arise when COVID-19 became a global pandemic and thrust the dental industry into a new era of change. Precautions were introduced and new equipment was needed, all at a high expense. Not to mention, stock was becoming increasingly scarce amongst many other shortages.

How Did Crispcap Help?
